Anyhow, the image shows that everything works fine with the camera. The image is sharp and clear, which gives us a hope that later on we will see beautiful images from the ground of Mars.

The lander has been in the space for one month so far, but it has already travelled 92 billion kilometers away from the Earth. Landing to Mars is expected to happen on May 2008. Read more about the first picture from the news release of Arizona university.
