No Liquid Water In Mars?

Phil Plait from Bad Astronomy writes about the new results of Mars research. Last year scientists announced that most probably there has been liquid water on Mars. Now they claim that actually there hasn’t been nany liquid water. Instead the the scientists were fooled by smooth lava.

This must be a serious setback for those expecting the scientists to find water on Mars.
