Yes, Christmas is coming! I cannot wait that I do NOT need to wake up to drive to work. Instead I will sleep late, drink lots of coffee and read books on astronomy. Additionally I will watch some astronomy or space related DVD’s because my secrect intelligence has found out that I will receive a couple of space DVD’s (such as those presenting nebulae) as presents..
I love to watch space DVD’s, they are faboulous. In this short article I have gathered three great space DVD’s that I recommend as presents for amateur astronomers or kids. DVD for Amateur Astronomer #1: Planet Earth
One of the best DVD’s I have ever seen is BBC’s Planet Earth. It is really awesome DVD providing stunning images of the Earth. It is very interesting and entertaining. DVD for Amateur Astronomer #2: The Blue Planet
Another great DVD is the Blue Planet which is an IMAX film. Just like Planet Earth, the Blue Planet talks about the Earth but it focuses on water. It is also really interesting and great DVD that provides very nice images of waters on this planet. Read more about the DVD by clicking the link below.
DVD for Amateur Astronomer #3: Stargaze – Hubble’s View of the Universe
This last video is not worse than the others. It talks about the images taken by Hubble telescope. This DVD provides fabulous images of the universe, and I bet you have not seen anything like this before. This DVD could be a great present for kids because it contains basic information on astronomy as well as stunning images. Read more again behind the link.
