The new LHC collider of CERN in Switzerland will start up in 32 days. The first attempt will be seen live in television through Eurovision. This will be very interesting moment, because they have built LHC for years already, and now it will start-up. This will be the first beam.

Could CERN’s LHC create microsopic black holes?
There have been discussions that LHC could create microscopic black holes, just like those in space, but much smaller. Is it possible that massive collisions of particles could create microscopic black holes?
“According to the well-established properties of gravity, described by Einstein’s relativity, it is impossible for microscopic black holes to be produced at the LHC. There are, however, some speculative theories that predict the production of such particles at the LHC. All these theories predict that these particles would disintegrate immediately. Black holes, therefore, would have no time to start accreting matter and to cause macroscopic effects” [CERN].
In theory it is not possible, but theories don’t always explain all the phenomena. As speculative theories say, creation of microscopic black holes is possible. Because of this CERN organized a highly skillful team of scientists to find out if possible microscopic black holes could be dangerous for human beings. The result of this study is that it is possible to create microscopic black holes in LHC, but because these black holes would be so small, they would disappear in seconds. This is explained by Hawking radiation, a theory developed by Stephen Hawking.
Microscopic black holes of CERN won’t do you any harm
If for some reason a black hole would exist longer, it would not cause any harm to our planet. Otherwise this planet would have been destroyed long time ago, because similar particle collisions happen every now and then in our atmosphere. It has been estimated that in every 100 years a particle hits our atmosphere with energy enough to create a black hole. This has happened already during billions of years, and our planet still exists.
“Although stable microscopic black holes are not expected in theory, study of the consequences of their production by cosmic rays shows that they would be harmless. Collisions at the LHC differ from cosmic-ray collisions with astronomical bodies like the Earth in that new particles produced in LHC collisions tend to move more slowly than those produced by cosmic rays” [CERN]

I’m sorry if everyone disagrees but this idea is bizzare craziness. In my opinion we shouldn’t even know of a black hole in the first place. The Maya’s prodiction saids “On Dec. 21st, 2012 The world will end”. Not to scary you but they’ve kinda been right with the other prodictions too. But rememeber “The world will end…” It’s a complete sentence while not complete sentence. I can end in a adjective so something can still change. Now I’m 15 while in the 9th grade, I GRADUTE 2012 FROM HIGH SCHOOL!! This is not fair! 180 people working on this project can’t do this if the whole world (about 10 billion people)don’t feel right about this *COUGH, COUGH KILLING EVERYTHING!!* I sad and mad. This is like finding the backdoor to the creation of all life or the outside world that looks in on us… This is cool , but very scary . I mean , whether you believe in God or not one thing is for sure there are always consequences to every action. It does not matter how smart these people responsible for this are , they still don’t know all consequences or risks that this can creat. Blackholes are being made but they are called micro black holes. Because of there small size as they suck in matter they radiate. They are no threat to use though. a hole thoughthe size of i dont know maybe a small classroom that should be able to sustane itself and would be a threat.
The radiation of the black holes causes them to lose mass in the end they do dissapear. This time frame is anywhere from 0.0001 to 3.0 seconds life span.

There is more of a reason why global parliments are doing this, and it is not for finding any particle. If you all do your research into Planet X, if you all do your research into what is really going on, the way we are all being made to think about everything other then the real matter at hand which is what is happening and what is coming to the earth !! Terrorism/global irrational weather/sun storms you name it, it is all to get our minds away from the TRUTH. So this is not deleted off the page I ask you all to research our planets history, the hidden planet (the one every government will deny), our position of the earth in 2012 and then finally GLOBAL WARMING. If anything this CERN LHC is a secret mission to save all our arses from the coming (every 36,000 year) planetry cycle.

The LHC CERN will not harm us because if it does create a black it will be microscopic. Theory goes that the Black hole will just evaporate. A black hole would have to be the size of a marble to destroy out planet which would take a long time to make. If the sun was compressed down into a black hole it would be microscopic. There is no need to worry. The CERN LHC is actually good because it will either prove steven hawking’s theory of black holes being the key to time travel or do nothing. Also people think that a Black hole could stray into our Star System. This is true because there is beleived to be about a million black holes of all sizes in our galaxy, and the bigest being the center. But the nearest black hole is lightyears away from us. The only ways we could die from black holes is the sun causing a supernova, a LHC waaaaaayy bigger than the CERN and a straying black hole(which is only a theory). There is no need to worry about dying from black holes. The thing I would worry about is humans causing the end. But don’t spend you life worrying about somthing that may not happen.
